Packed with veggies, wholegrain (brown rice) noodles, and lean chicken protein!

This recipe has a rich sauce of soy sauce, curry powder, and maple syrup for sweetness. Funnily, the use of curry powder- introduced to the region through British colonial influence is what gives Singapore noodles their name, the dish doesn't actually have a native tie to Singapore!

We use brown rice noodles in this recipe, which serve as a nutritious and versatile base for a variety of dishes. Brown rice noodles are made from whole grain brown rice, making them an excellent choice for those who are seeking gluten-free alternatives to traditional pasta. One of the significant advantages of brown rice noodles is that they are naturally gluten-free, making them suitable for individuals with celiac disease or those who have a gluten intolerance. This characteristic allows a broader audience to enjoy delicious meals without the worry of gluten-related health issues.

In addition to being gluten-free, brown rice noodles are rich in dietary fiber, which is essential for maintaining a healthy digestive system. The fiber content helps regulate bowel movements, prevents constipation, and can contribute to a feeling of fullness, which may assist in weight management. Moreover, brown rice noodles retain the bran and germ of the rice grain, which are packed with vital vitamins and minerals. These include B vitamins, such as niacin and thiamine, which play crucial roles in energy metabolism and overall cellular function. Additionally, brown rice is a good source of essential minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese, all of which contribute to various bodily functions, including bone health and enzyme activity.

Furthermore, the nutty flavor and chewy texture of brown rice noodles add a delightful dimension to dishes, making them an ideal choice for stir-fries, soups, and salads. Their ability to absorb flavors from sauces and broths enhances the overall taste experience, allowing for creative culinary exploration. By incorporating brown rice noodles into our recipe, we not only prioritize health and nutrition but also ensure a satisfying and flavorful meal that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of dietary restrictions.
